The Czech airline Smartwings is expanding its offer of flights from Prague to the most popular destinations across Europe with the launch of the summer flight schedule on 29 March 2026. The carrier is increasing the number of connections to Málaga, Barcelona, Valencia, and Rome, giving passengers even more flexibility in planning their trips.
More flights to popular destinations
From March 29, Smartwings will dispatch 14 flights a week from Prague to Málaga, Spain (2 flights per day). Flights to Barcelona, Valencia and Rome will be available daily. “Spain and Italy are some of the most popular destinations with our clients in the long term.” By increasing the frequency of flights, we offer greater travel flexibility and respond to the growing demand for flights to southern Europe,” says Michal Váňa, Sales Director of Smartwings.
Under the summer flight schedule, the Smartwings will offer direct flights from Czech airports to 80 destinations in 20 countries. The largest number of summer destinations reachable with Smartwings from Czech airports is traditionally in Greece (20 destinations), followed by Spain (19), Italy (10) and Portugal (7).
Strong demand during Easter
Smartwings registers strong demand for travel during the Easter holidays. The most popular are short stays in Paris, Málaga, Madrid, Rome, Porto, Bilbao, Valencia, and Mallorca, as well as longer holidays in the Canary Islands, Madeira or the Azores. Passengers who prefer extra comfort and comprehensive premium in-flight services can choose Business Class on routes to Gran Canaria and Tenerife.

Smartwings offers flexible fares:
- Lite – hand luggage up to 8 kg only (max. dimensions 55 × 40 × 23 cm)
- Plus and Flex – include check-in baggage up to 23 kg, a cabin bag up to 8 kg, a small personal bag up to 3 kg, seat selection
- Business Class – maximum comfort, two pieces of check-in baggage up to 32 kg, 2 cabin bags up to 8 kg, a small personal bag up to 3 kg, priority check-in, Fast Track, Business Class lounge, premium seat, premium catering
Smartwings flight tickets are available on the company’s website and at ticket vendors. Prices currently start at CZK 2,150, including hand luggage (55 × 40 × 23 cm, 8 kg).
